Terms of Use

Simple, fair terms for using PushPullit.

Last updated: 26 April 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using PushPullit ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

PushPullit is a native macOS application that allows you to save folders as reusable project templates and create new project copies from them using find-and-replace. The App runs entirely offline and stores all data locally on your Mac.

3. Licence

PushPullit is licensed to you under the standard Apple Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement (EULA) as provided through the Mac App Store. You may use the App on any Mac where you are signed in with your Apple ID, subject to Apple's terms.

4. Free & Pro Tiers

PushPullit is free to download and use with up to 10 templates. An optional one-time In-App Purchase ("Pro") removes this limit and unlocks additional features. All purchases are processed by Apple. We do not handle payment information.

  • The Pro upgrade is non-consumable and permanent
  • Refunds are handled by Apple per their refund policy
  • The Pro upgrade applies to all Macs signed in with the same Apple ID

5. Your Content

All project files, templates, tags, notes, and other content you create within PushPullit remain entirely yours. We claim no ownership or licence over your content. Your files are stored locally and are never uploaded to any server.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Redistribute, sublicence, or resell the App
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Remove or modify any proprietary notices in the App

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

PushPullit is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, compatible with all hardware or software configurations, or free of harmful components. The App is designed for macOS and its operation may vary depending on your system configuration, macOS version, available disk space, and other factors outside our control.

You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your templates, project files, and any other data on your system. We recommend using the built-in Export feature, Time Machine, or another backup solution.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tooltilities and its developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Loss of data, files, templates, or project content
  • Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
  • Business interruption or downtime
  • Hardware failure, system crashes, or software conflicts
  • Corruption of files or system settings
  • Any damage arising from system updates, macOS changes, or third-party software interactions

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the App (if any). This limitation applies whether the claim is based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory.

You acknowledge that the App operates locally on your Mac and that you are responsible for the security, maintenance, and backup of your own system and data.

9. Updates

We may release updates to PushPullit from time to time via the Mac App Store. Updates may add, modify, or remove features. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of any changes.

10. Termination

You may stop using PushPullit at any time by deleting the App. We reserve the right to discontinue the App at any time, though your locally stored data will remain accessible independently.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
